The software is an online solution for the MCPC software, and implements all the logic and interfacing for the MCPC card. We do not produce any cards or readers. From what i know the card reader is a different one than just a regular magnetic strip reader. The magnetic strip reader is for the chipcards that has a chip in the card. A regular chipcard without a chip would not work with that reader. I think the mcpr version would be like a normal card reader you would have to use the mcr2 software and the reader to read the card. Just run the software that comes with the reader.
